The H-1B visa is the most widely known temporary work visa category, frequently used by foreign nationals, including international students, seeking employment in the United States. Applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, and employers must demonstrate that the offered position requires specialized knowledge related to the applicant’s academic background.

Due to annual numerical caps (65,000 visas for bachelor's degree holders and 20,000 additional visas for master's or higher degree holders), most applicants must successfully pass a lottery selection process.

The H-1B visa is initially granted for up to three years, with one possible extension of three additional years, allowing a maximum stay of six years.

We assist many U.S. employers through the entire H-1B process, including initial eligibility assessments for both employers and applicants, preparation of Labor Condition Applications (LCA), lottery registration, and submission of H-1B petitions. Additionally, we provide ongoing guidance on maintaining lawful status in situations such as job changes or terminations following visa approval.

The J visa, or Exchange Visitor visa, is commonly issued to professors visiting U.S. universities, as well as professionals, students, and employees participating in short-term training or internship programs, particularly in the medical field. We assist clients in obtaining J visas by collaborating closely with Department of State-approved program sponsors and partnering with local institutions, including universities, hospitals, hotels, and restaurants.

Commonly known as the "artist visa," the O visa is actually available not only for artists but also for individuals who possess extraordinary ability or achievement in fields such as science, education, business, and athletics. Unlike the H-1B visa, the O visa does not have a lottery selection process or specific educational requirements.

We have successfully handled O-1B visa cases for a wide range of artists including models, dancers, photographers, fashion designers, and animators, as well as O-1A visa cases for researchers, physicians, athletes, and other professionals.

The O visa is initially granted for up to three years and can be extended indefinitely in increments of up to one year.

The P visa, similar to the O visa, is a non-immigrant visa category for athletes, artists, and entertainers. However, it differs in purpose, as it is specifically designed for individuals participating in U.S.-based tournaments, exhibitions, performances, and entertainment events. Clients we've successfully assisted in obtaining P visas include professional athletes from the NHL (National Hockey League), PGA Tour golfers, X-Games athletes, and performing artists.

The F-1 student visa, along with the B-2 tourist visa, is among the most familiar visas for individuals visiting the United States. Traditionally, applicants have filed for F-1 visas independently or through educational agencies. However, due to increasingly stringent student visa regulations and the need to plan ahead for post-study opportunities, professional guidance has become essential. We provide comprehensive assistance—from successful student visa approval tomaintaining or changing visa status, and ultimately obtaining permanent residency, and ultimately permanent residency.

With the availability of the ESTA Visa Waiver Program (VWP), the need for B-1/B-2 visas has decreased among eligible nationals. However, regardless of ESTA eligibility, there remains significant demand for the B-1/B-2 visa, which allows stays of up to 6 months to one year in the U.S. Given the increasingly strict requirements for visa approval, applicants must exercise greater caution and thorough preparation when applying.

We assist clients with obtaining B-1/B-2 visas for purposes such as contract negotiations, short-term training, consulting, visiting family, or receiving medical treatment. We also support clients throughout the entire process, including visa status changes and applications for extensions of stay.

The R visa is intended specifically for religious workers. This category includes not only ordained ministers and clergy responsible for conducting worship but also non-clergy individuals performing roles directly related to religious activities, such as teachers at church-affiliated schools or choir directors. The R visa is not limited to a particular religion and applies to individuals from various religious backgrounds, including Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism, and others. Sponsorship by the applicant's affiliated religious organization is mandatory. Given the strict USCIS requirements, including on-site inspections, professional assistance is highly recommended for a successful application.

We assist religious workers with obtaining both R visas and EB-4 immigrant visas for religious workers.
